When are we closing?
We will cease all gaming activity at 6am on Tuesday March 17th 2020.

Why are we closing?
Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation tribal leadership is committed to protecting the health and wellness of tribal citizens, team members, guests, and the communities we serve.  Current guidance is clear that social distancing is the most effective way to limit the spread of COVID-19, to that point it has been determined that closure is the most responsible course of action.

When will we re-open?
Because the global health crisis in constantly evolving, we will not be announcing a re-opening date at this time.  

Will anyone still work?
Yes, there are some critical positions that at this time are being defined as "necessary to ensure life and safety".  If you have questions regarding this distinction, please contact your supervisor.  Every advised precaution is being taken to ensure the health and wellness of these essential team members.

What about my pay and benefits?
The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation tribal council is committed to ensuring the team members are paid and benefits remain at this time.

I work in a tipped or commissioned position, will I be compensated for lost earnings?
Yes, team members who work in tipped and commissioned positions will be compensated for those lost earnings at an average of previously reported earnings and based on average hours worked.  Our accounting team is working to gather the data at this time and will have tip rates available very soon.

Will I continue to accrue PTO during this temporary closure?
Yes, team members will earn PTO at their normal rate during this temporary closure.

I have already scheduled PTO that I would like to cancel due to travel restrictions, can I do that?
During this temporary closure, Cache Creek Casino Resort is not deducting PTO from team member banks.  No action by the team member is necessary at this time.

I am on or have scheduled a leave of absence (LOA) how is this impacted?
For team members that are currently on LOA or have scheduled LOA it will be handled per the written policy which requires deduction of PTO hours for compensation.

I already have PTO and/or Leave scheduled, will my PTO still be reduced?
The payroll team will evaluate PTO that has been previously requested every week.  If we are still temporary closed and you had previously requested PTO, those hours will be placed back in your bank for future use.

Can I work from home?
Some positions will be approved to work from home. Your department management will provide specific instructions on who can work from home.

Does Cache Creek Casino Resort have a confirmed case of COVID-19?
No, at this time we are not aware of any confirmed cases of COVID-19. This action is being taken out of an abundance of caution to protect the health of our guests, employees, and communities.
