Grasshopper (草蜢) is a prominent Hong Kong trio male group formed in 1985. The group has released multiple albums, received numerous accolades, and has held innumerable sold-out concerts. Grasshopper consists of brothers Calvin Choy Yat-chi and Remus Choy Yat-kit, and their neighbor Edmond So Chi-Wai. They participated in the 4th New Talents Singing Contest in Hong Kong. At that time, the renowned pop diva Anita Mui was greatly impressed by their outstanding dance performance, and subsequently engaged the dancers for her performances and concerts. The group first achieved recognition with their debut album Grasshopper in 1988, and have retained their popularity to present day.

Interest in the group remained strong even in the mid-2000s, so they performed in over 100 concerts in Hong Kong and worldwide tours. The latest concert series, entitled Re: Grasshopper, began in Hong Kong in October 2022. ImaginAsian Productions is proud to bring Grasshopper back to the US to continue their world tour. The two-day event will be hosted on Friday, September 20th & Saturday, September 21st at Cache Creek Casino Resort.
