Contemporary and unique, Blue Point Oyster Bar is the work of culinary masters Fred and Matt Haines, owners and operators of the renowned 33rd Street Bistro and Riverside Club House in Sacramento. Serving fresh seasonal oysters and other popular shellfish, the Blue Point Oyster Bar has an inviting atmosphere that includes an open kitchen with counter seating. There's also the attraction of a unique blue jellyfish aquarium adding a soothing touch to the ambience.
Blue Point service is modeled after the dockside fish markets of San Francisco and Seattle, with fresh oysters and mussels displayed on a mountain of ice, accented with colorful aquatic vegetation. Diners can select their own meal, watch servers shuck, clean and prepare the oysters in a variety of styles. Other signature items on the menu include authentic Louisiana Po' Boys, shrimp salad, and homemade chowder and gumbo.
